Walking into a gym for the first time can feel intimidating. You don’t know what to do, how to use the equipment, or whether people are watching. At MEC Fitness in Peyad, beginners are not an afterthought. Our coaching is built for people starting from scratch.
What makes MEC beginner-friendly
- You are shown what to do. A coach teaches every movement and tells you why it’s in your programme.
- You start where you are. Bodyweight or light weights first, adding load only when you’re ready.
- You follow a plan. No guessing what to do each day.
- Questions are welcome. There are no silly questions on our floor.

Common beginner worries
“I’m not fit enough to join a gym”
Nobody starts fit. Your programme starts at your current level. Fitness is the result of training, not a requirement for it.
“I don’t know how to use the equipment”
That’s what coaches are for. You will never be left to figure it out on your own.
“I’ve started and stopped before”
Most people have. A clear plan and someone checking in on you makes a big difference to sticking with it.
